The pens themselves are fine (and an excellent find, given Pilot has now discontinued them). Staples, however, sent royal blue bodied pens, not black. Replacement would have taken longer than I could affort to wait, so I accepted their 15% discount to my order to address their error.

This is a good pen that comes in wrong barrel color (it is blue!) I talked to a rep at Staples and she did not feel responsible to provide a remedy, or (apparently) even change the add details to prevent more mistakes.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pen body considering the low price. The body seems to be made of a very sturdy, solid resin that holds up to use. The grip portion is a cast metal which adds a nice weight balance; the pen FEELS nicer than the price would suggest. With the G2 refills, the ink flow and consistency make it a great writer and allows a variety of line widths and colors. The only thing that personally limits my emjoyment in writing with it is how slimthe grip is. For men or those with larger hands it may feel a little small. Also, although Staples doesn't offer it, my order came with a blue pen body which was fine.
