I am a nurse who uses this pen refill everyday. It writes smoothly and easily. The tip is smaller allowing me to write smaller. It is a good value with 2 refills per pack.
Only con is that the tip may bend if dropped while pen is in open position. Can be bent back but it sometimes breaks.
Pros definitely outweigh the cons.

I prefer the 0.5mm and 0.38mm versions of the G-2 series but the 0.7mm is a nice pen (refill) for a bolder line. If you do not press hard a thinner line can be made. If you need a bolder line the the G-2 0.7mm pen and refill are an excellent choice.

I am a nurse and have ligament damage in my wrist, which makes it difficult to write alot (which my job requires!)...this is the perfect pen...my only gripe...ink doesn't last long enough and these are ridiculously hard to find in the store

I have a co-worker who also likes to use the Pilot G2 pen. We have to be careful not to walk off with one another's pen!
