Pilot outdoes itself when it makes writing instruments and the P-700 fine point is no exception. I love the Precise pens but it's not great on all types of paper due to the liquid ink. The P-700 is the gel-ink version and it's WONDERFUL. I use it for note-taking, signing documents, writing rough drafts for reports (I do these long-hand for creativity purposes), and for just about everything else. The pen writes smoothly, consistently (unlike the G-2 pens that tend to skip and feel a bit rough), it has a very comfortable medium-sized grip like the Precise pens (but with a non-slip section like the Neo-Gel), and looks fitting for office work but reliable for just about any type of setting. The only issues are that thre is no ink-view window the way the Precise pens have, and the ink comes out a bit grayer than the Precise pens with black ink, but it's still a solid black.

I have used this pen for years, but for some reason this last box I bought is defective. Many of the pens seems to dry up. I am not sure why, sometimes if I scribble and scribble the ink will come back, but not always. Not sure why this is happening as I am using them as I have always used them.

Comments about Pilot® P-700 Precise® Gel Roller Pen, Fine Point, Black, Dozen:
I use this pen every day at work. It is an excellent product, and I cannot use any other pen after being spoiled using this one! It never skips, glides easily, looks nice and is comfortable to hold. Whenever someone else borrows my pen, they invariably comment on what a nice pen it is. I actually tape my name on these pens so I don't lose them!
