  • Q:

I wanted to check that item 896346 Plantronics HIC-1 CE2001 Adapter Cable is compatible with my Plantronics M22 amplifier. We're looking to stock a couple of extras as they wear out.

This mentions IP phones, and we use digital phones? The cord "looks" exactly like the ones we have?

I think that the two products OUGHT to be compatible; however the websites don't provide an answer directly. The description on the Staples website is as follows: "Use to directly connect your headset to specific Avaya IP phones. For use with any Plantronics H series headset. The Quick Disconnect (QD) capability allows the headset to detach without losing the call." The same item is described on the Plantronics website:"To directly connect your headset to specific Avaya IP phones, including the following models: 2410, 2420, 4406, 4412, 4424, 4406D+, 4412D+, 4424D+, 4424LD+, 4610SW, 4620, 4620SW, 4621SW, 5410, 5420, 5610, 5620, 6416D+M, 6424D+M. The Quick Disconnect (QD) capability allows the headset to detach without losing the call." "The Plantronics website describes the amplifier as follows: "Plantronics M22 amplifier brings superior sound-quality and acoustic protection to your telephone. As well as providing compatibility with those telephones that do not allow direct connection of headsets it offers a range of additional features to enhance the sound quality of your phone conversations."
