Ink roller not fix old adding machine.

Replaced ink roller in attempt to restore printing capability of 10+ year old sharp adding machine. Now ink gets on paper but in blotches that can't be read. Perhaps typeface rollers are worn down too far or clogged .

Purchased one at my local Staples, it was old and mostly dried out. Needed to special order 2 online, 1 was not available. Only needed 1 but am happy with it since I opened it and it has plenty of ink. Wondering if the other one will dry out before I need it...

The ribbon ink is leaked and so the ribbon is dried out and will not print.

[...] We never had a problem with the adding machine in the past and now it prints every line with a bleeding ink and marks and you can't read the numbers. We tried everything to even cleaning the cartridge.
