    This is an outstanding invention, but unfortunately, the company that makes them sometimes discontinues it. I couldn't get the item anywhere last year..even emailed the company that makes them and was told they were discontinued. I was thrilled to get several of them at Staples, but now they have disappeared again. I hope the manufacturer realizes the need for them.

    Runs out of ink -- pen part & hiliter

    the inkin the tube for the pen separated and only lasted maybe a week then no writing at all even though ink was still left further up the tube!!!

    Hilighter part didn't last long enough. Tip stayed together, but ink ran out fast!

      This looked like just what I wanted and needed for my Bible study. It works well in both the study books and the Bible itself. I like that I don't have to look for separate pen and highlighter, and the added bonus of the flags makes it much easier to refer back and forth to within the studies. I firmly believe students in high school and college would find this multi-use pen helpful.

        The only thing I don't like about this as opposed to the previous Post-it/highlighter/pen is the connection of the caps. The diagonal on each cap require you to stop and look at the pen a bit which distracts you from your thoughts.

        Overall,this is a fabulous utility tool.
