This envelope is small and short, 3 5/8" x 8 5/8". It only works for checks sent without additional paperwork. It doesn't work for us since most checks are sent out with additional paperwork. To make the paperwork fit into this envelope it must be folded smaller than thirds. Because the envelope is short, it does not accommodate but very few pages. Overall it's inconvenient and time consuming to use.

The larger "invoice" envelope works much better, item #565339, 3 7/8" x 8 7/8". Paperwork folded into thirds fit in it easily. The 2 windows of the invoice envelope line up OK for address access on our QuickBook checks.

These work well. You don't have to waste time licking, wetting, or taping envelopes shut. My boss finds them incredibly easy to use and time saving. Less hassle and less frustration. The only negative I can think of is that another supply company sells the same type redi-seal envelope that is more of a sticker-type vs. the gummy. I always feel more secure sending out checks in those envelopes because there is no way to open them and have the envelope look remotely untampered with.

I use these envelopes for all of our printed QuickBooks checks. The clear windows line up almost perfect, and are considerably less expensive than the comparible Intuit product.
