The board itself is very nice; it comes with 7 wall anchors which are absolute garbage. Only 1 out of the 7 anchors actually tightened how it was supposed to. DO NOT USE THE HARDWAR INCLUDED. Go to [...] and buy the plastic drywall anchors to save yourself the aggravation of hanging this white board on the wall.

    Can I remove the tray from this product? If I do so, will the holes be visible?

      The tray is not intended to be removed for the frame of this whiteboard. If you do the holes from the attachment dowels will be visible.
