Data Importation from Other Programs

QuickBooks allows you to import data from other accounting software, including Peachtree 2008 and above, Microsoft Office Accounting 2007 to 2009, and Microsoft SBA 2006, using a free importation tool. This allows you to populate your QuickBooks workbooks with data that you've already entered into the other programs without having to do it manually. You can also transfer data from Quicken 2011 to 2013, Microsoft Excel 2000 to 2010, and earlier versions of QuickBooks, all without needing any third-party tools.

Software Integration

Intuit's QuickBooks Premier is capable of smoothly integrating with commonly used Windows office applications. This data integration allows you to synchronize QuickBooks with Microsoft Word, Excel 2003 and above, and Outlook 2003 and above. With the sync feature, data contained in e-mail invoices or other forms within compatible software can be instantly seen in QuickBooks and used in your workbooks to keep track of business transactions. Microsoft applications are available through the Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 software package.
