I am a small business and do not take a regular salary. I dont have employees, so there are alot of things I will not use this for, although they are available to turn on later down the road if needed. The only thing that I dont like aboout it is being tied to my bank account that I also use for some personal things. I just hope that does not create an accounting mess. Other than that I am completely satisfied.

Making it mandatory to upgrade to keep the payroll function is bad enough. The fact that you had to change things to keep the brand managers employed is a joke. THE PRODUCT WAS JUST FINE THE WAY IT WAS. Especially the REPORTING screen. I don't need previews of the reports to take up all that screen real estate. It was fine the way it was. Anyone using QB for any length of time DOESN'T need to see a sample of the report they always use!
I'm happy the brand manager got to keep his/her job another year, but if I could change to another program I would in a second.

I hate that QB forces us to buy every two years or our payroll won't work (and they charge plenty for the payroll updates each year). During these tough economic times it would be nice if they would continue to let us use the older products longer than two years.

This is a must for any small business. Intuit also integrates payroll, merchant services, echecks, and direct deposit so we have the capabilities of large company on a small company budget. Would have given it 5 stars but quickbooks takes a little getting used to before you can really move around quickly in it.
