              So many things wrong with this version! Very undependable. Not a professional version at all. I was better off using a professional software and spending $300. My old data did not transfer over very well. Missing data. Downloads from my checking acct are not clear, missing data. Customers reps are programmed to run the conversation in a circle as if the User doesn't know what they are doing. They are (probably) barely out of college, if at all, and are challenging me to accounting questions. Delete software and reinstall did not make any difference.

                I've been a long time (and previously happy) Quicken user. Unfortunately, I was forced to upgrade from Quicken 2010 to 2013. 2013 is slow and buggy, and Intuit's customer service is pretty useless. What a disappointment. Shame on you Intuit!

                    The only reason I am looking at upgrading from 2010 version is that Intuit will no longer support downloading after April 2013. This is forced upgrade every three years, and it ticks me off each time. I just read the online review by Forbes (Oct 26, 2012), and I didn't see anything that would make me want to upgrade.

                    I've been a Quicken user since the beginning, but several years ago, Intuit took a negative turn towards services and support for users. Unfortunately, they drove MS Money out of the market, so there is no longer any option, and there really wasn't before, once years of data had been built up; the conversion just didn't work well.

                    I'll be looking for best price I can find to do something I would rather not do at all.

                    Would be nice if they fixed the bugs where often Quicken stops running on my Win 7 with 8 GB RAM -- windows just start flashing all over the place, and eventually have to kill it or it just stops.

                        Quicken Deluxe 2013 can convert files from earlier versions of Quicken. It is not guaranteed that files that are several versions old will convert. The Quicken program changes significantly with each version. Sometimes conversions have to be done in steps using previous versions of the program along the way.
