      I try and minimize my time I spend shopping around online. It didn't click with me that the boldly advertised price in red was for a concurrent purchase of a different product, Turbo Tax, in order to get the reduced rebated price on Quicken. My eyes just saw "price after rebate". Customer service was helpful though & resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

      That said I love Quicken for an everyman's accounting system. I buy a new version every year or two.

        The website advertised a $40 rebate on Quicken 2013 - download version with the purchase of Turbo Tax. After submitting the rebate, I was told the rebate cannot be offered on downloads. However, the website clearly advertised it was available on rebates. Staples offered no solution to the problem and refused to honor the rebate. If you're buying because of a rebate offer on the download version, think twice.
