I purchased (4) of these with the RCA 25250RE1 Base which included (1) additional. Of the (5) total handsets, 3 died within 5 months. I only needed the two lines, but there wasn't a 2-line only version that met my needs, so it was expensive for my uses. The quality was not much better than the Uniden 5.8Ghz 2-line phone I replaced.

First of all, we purchased a base unit phone so that we could add handsets to it later. Since, then we have purchased 3 handsets and only one of the three work. The other 2 say searching unless I plug their individual packs to the back of the base unit but then that stops the other handset that was working.

Second, my Executive Director and I realized that even with 3 phone lines we are unable to use the cordless handset on a different line when the base unit is being used.

We now have 2 additional cordless handsets that are not useable. If there is something we are missing that we should be doing please let us know. We did already call and have it troubleshooted and what they told us to do did not work either.

great to have a four line cordless that works. The base phone system also worked with ATT phones that we currently had.
