COULDN'T GET THE PHONE TO WORK ON MY PHONE LINE. BUT OTHER PHONES WORKED WELL.

Nice looking phone, but can not be used for conference calls, or in speaker mode due to such poor sound quality on receiving calls and others that are listening to you talk.

I like the phone but the cord could have been a little longer, the face plate scratches very easily and reflects the lights from above sometimes it is hard to read. The cordless handset works well and has good reception.

I bought this phone system for my home-based office, where I need a 2-line phone, which combines a corded base and cordless handsets.
I find it easy to use the various features and I like the look and feel of the whole system.
As noted by a previous reviewer, it was hard to get the base standby batteries ( 5 AAA ) to make contact to remove the " Replace Battery " message from the screen. However, I was able to do so after prying the battery metal contact prongs with a paper clip.
The standard 2 year manufacturer's warranty ( printed on the RCA website ) is a recent revision to the 1 year warranty printed in the owner's manual.
I'm very pleased and I hope my satisfaction continues.
