First and foremost. I never review products. But I felt this phone had gotten a bad rap I needed to set the record straight. Other people have reviewed this phone poorly and if you are an elderly arthritic ridden individual that might be the case and I quote "its to hard to put the batteries in the phone" quit crying!!! if you can't manage your fat clumsy fingers to get the battery in place, use some needle nose pliers! I put them in with no problem and I am 40 yrs old. Next "People cant hear me" My parents are in their late sixties and hard of hearing and they heard me just fine.

The only issue I have is the headset is larger than the average bluetooth headset, but that is my only issue. Its comfortable and I have been on conference calls for serveral hours without it dieing as well as the handsets. Tip for anyone who buys this, to copy your directory listing to your other handsets it must be done from the base.

I love this phone, its sexy, mobile, and comfortable. I am a bit teckie but I think the average person can work this.

The phone looks great on my desk, but had less than desired sound. If I turned my head while speaking into the handset, the person on the other end of the phone couldn't hear me. They said it sounded like I was turning my head to speak to someone other than them. I liked the sleek design and nice look on my desk, but it's a phone...it has to be able to act like one! You must be able to both hear and project your voice. I returned it to the store and purchased the RCA 25424RE1 corded phones for the office and absolutely love them. Best purchase ever. Have not had one bit of trouble with them. They were a bit more pricey, but worth every penny.

    This is a good system for my office. It would be nice if the head set battery would last longer. It would also be better if the phone response to call pick ups would be faster, both head set and hand units. It does have very clear sound and I can go any wear in office or home and get reception.

      Base unit requires 5 AAA batteries. Call screening feature isn't compatible with the AT&T phones I have in other rooms. So, if I pick up an AT&T handset while the caller is starting to leave a message, the answering system keeps recording and there's no button to press to stop it.

              I have been working from home for the past 4 years now for a National Company and have had 2 other RCA phones. This version is the best so far. I am very impressed with the hands free headset. I can walk outside, downstairs and I do not lose my connection and per my colleagues and family I sound crystal clear. I was nervous at first because there were negative reviews stating the headset had a lot of static- this is not the case. I have even recommended this phone to my supervisor!

                  As per the manufacture RCA, with the system you can transfer calls between phones but not phone lines. That would be a forwarding type feature that these phones cannot do. With the roll over that is a feature through the phone service provider and they can turn that on.
