First and foremost. I never review products. But I felt this phone had gotten a bad rap I needed to set the record straight. Other people have reviewed this phone poorly and if you are an elderly arthritic ridden individual that might be the case and I quote "its to hard to put the batteries in the phone" quit crying!!! if you can't manage your fat clumsy fingers to get the battery in place, use some needle nose pliers! I put them in with no problem and I am 40 yrs old. Next "People cant hear me" My parents are in their late sixties and hard of hearing and they heard me just fine.

The only issue I have is the headset is larger than the average bluetooth headset, but that is my only issue. Its comfortable and I have been on conference calls for serveral hours without it dieing as well as the handsets. Tip for anyone who buys this, to copy your directory listing to your other handsets it must be done from the base.

I love this phone, its sexy, mobile, and comfortable. I am a bit teckie but I think the average person can work this.

We use this system in a mostly business environment but our small business office is attached to our home and we use the same limes and phones.

Sad to say I had to do a lot of research to find a promising replacement for our previous system.

This may be premature but I'm amazed at the negative comments I've seem here. This phone system arrived today and was up and running and fully configured, within 25 minutes of unpacking. It replaced an aging Panasonic KX-TG6500B 5.8GHz system that was becoming unreliable from a handset standpoint - dropped connections mainly. (Poor voice volume and quality was also suspected.)

The features are even more complete than our needs - including remote access to messages - than I had been able to research. Despite the info in a previous post there IS visual indication of messages waiting on base station and each handset. Sound quality and volume (to and from) is superb in comparison with what went before and more than adequate for my aging ears and callers. Static - what static? As for battery installation I am 62 and I coped just fine. A very slight minus is the shiny black finish of some surfaces.

Range not yet evaluated but great in our 3200 ft home.

I use this phone for a small business. It took me a little time to figure out the two lines but not difficult. I had to get a phone guy to rewire so the phone works properly and rolls over. But overall I have been happy with this phone and it works well.

I am really disappointed that I do not have a "message waiting" light as my previous phone did. If you use the answering system that comes with the phone (I used voice mail that is offered by telephone company), then I believe the "Ans Sys' button is illuminated. Outside that issue, I like so far (into my 3 day use).

This would be a good phone if you don't use headsets or have VOP. They speaker phone is great. I didn't like the phone because the sound was not good with my headset and I have two lines - one vop and one local phone line. They don't mix and there is a clicking sound. So I just ordered a Uniden which I am told will work. [...]
