Q: We purchased these phones. Only some calls are coming up on the caller id. Not every call is showing up even if we let the phone ring several times before answering. Q: I had an earlier question whether this phone had voicemail and Staples said it did not. However, does that mean if I have a voicemail set-up with my phone company that this would work on this phone? I just want to make sure that messages can be left somehow. Thanks Asked on 11/30/2012 by swm Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The phone itself does not have a built in answering system, but if you have voicemail through your phone company it will work on it. Q: I currently purchased 4 of these phones. Will this phone system work with an existing pbx system? I have 4 of these phones connected to my Cisco SPA8000. I currently use voip and the Cisco SPA8000 converts voip to analog. I can call no problem but I cannot use the phone features such as intercom, page, and transfer. Someone told me they recommend adding a pbx system to my setup. Do you have a recommendation for a pbx system? I hope you can guide me to the right direction as I have had these phones for over a month and need to figure this out. Thank you Asked on 11/29/2012 by Coreano from Los Angeles, CA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, this phone system will work with an existing pbx system. Look into small sized PBX systems, which can expand their capacities as you grow. These systems come in all different maximum sizes from maxing out at 6, 8 and 12 lines for smaller systems to 32 lines for medium systems. Larger systems do require larger staffs to make economical sense. So choose a size that best fits. Answered on 11/29/2012 by Community Answer from None

Q: Although I have rollover features associated with my telephone plan, each time the line rings, there's a beep which sounds on the line I am on indicating another call is coming into the rollover line. This been causes an interruption in the conversation which is very annoying because the conversation is lost for several seconds each and every time. What can be done to avoid this beep and interruption? Is there something wrong with the set-up? Asked on 7/23/2012 by MR from New York, NY Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, there is a solution for this problem with the RCA 4-line Corded Integrated Telephone. Many users have agreed that the phone must be connected to two separate jacks for multiple lines. While this is not mentioned in the manual, it has been used to correct the problem when two phone calls are going through one sub jack. Answered on 7/24/2012 by Community Answer from None
