Q: Is there a way to silence the keystrokes on the phone base? I can't find any information on this in the manual and RCA support says that this is the only model they carry that doesn't appear to have a silent mode. This seems unlikely, since every phone I have ever used had a silent mode. Asked on 5/4/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Upon review of the manufactures download PDF file specs, I was able to find out that this phone has a do not disturb feature and this phone only has the tone dialing - no pulse. Also this phone has tone feedback when dialing and volume ringer related, meaning in the ringer controls there are 8 levels to choose from. Q: Do the lines rollover? That is can you have one main number and if that one is busy, it will automatically rollover to the other lines? Also, can the extension phones all be cordless? If so, what is the compatible handset & do I need to purchase anything else to go cordless? Asked on 2/28/2011 by dtw from Houston, TX Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, the lines will rollover; if a line is busy it will automatically select an open line. All the handsets can also be cordless, (I would suggest item number 895281) you do not have to purchase and additional pieces to use a cordless extension. Q: Also... can I buy 3 handsets to work with the system without having to purchase anything else, to give me 4 functioning phones/ lines that can be used simultaneously? Asked on 1/3/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Need to buy the 25801 router first as this is the brains of the system. You can then add up to 25 corded base stations (25825) and 25 cordless handsets (H5801). Answered on 1/11/2011 by who from USA
