I am trying to buy a heat gun to use with this product. What is the recommended temperature to use?

  I'm unable to find a recommended temperature for this shrink wrap; however, most heat guns have a variable setting to ensure the wrap shrinks without tearing if used properly. Currently; we do not carry this item, but we may be able to special order it for you. If you would like us to research this further, please contact us at 1-800-333-3330.

  Please also note that Multi-purpose Heat Guns can be used for a variety of applications, even for use for heating shrink film, the manufacture box packaging recommends on item SHPVC1075R, the ideal heat gun temperature is 250-275F. The manufacturer believes that 1,100F would burn through the film.

  A:
  This product shrinks to fit the item securely and can be done with a heat gun. A hair dryer is not strong enough to activate this film. Staples does not sell heat guns that will shrink this film however Milwaukee tools is the recomended brand of heat gun to use by the manufacturer.
