      A:

      Yes, this can be used with a heat gun. Shrink Film is typically used as an overwrap on many types of packaging, including cartons, boxes, beverage cans and pallet loads. A variety of products may be enclosed in shrink wrap to stabilize the products, unitize them, keep them clean or add tamper resistance.

      I would use caution if you are looking to use it on artwork. It would act like saran wrap covering your artwork. If you did use heat there would also be the risk of media running or melting on the canvas.
