I went with this because it was compact, but soon realized that if I need more than 100 or so card entries there is no room for expansion (the file simply won't hold any more cards). I also realized that if I want to get the bigger model, I will have to re-copy all of my old entries onto new cards since this unit's cards are not interchangeable with the bigger Rolodex. Overall it is good quality and am satisfied, I just wish I had put a little more thought into my purchase as these things aren't cheap. If I could go back in time, I would definitely get one of the bigger models, but that is just me. If you know you will never need more than around 100 entries, then this is perfect for you

I did not want to spent $30- $40 on a rolodex, and this is actually perfect for a fraction of the price. It takes up less space on my desktop and it just the right size for me to staple a business card onto the rolodex card when I have one.

This product has replaced all the phone books in our home, and could easy work in an office. The OPTION of removing and replacing cards that need changes is so fast, and neat. We never have scratch out names or address again. The many file slips that come with holder give you plenty pages to change without a messy directory
