Easy to put together. No tools required. But, if you have large hands you will have a hard time securing the base with the "Butterfly screws".
The surface of the Monitor stand is pretty Wide.
The only thing I don't like about this product is the drawer. It doesn't pull out smoothly.

It was built for the older TV style monitors, but still is very useful...could be about 1/2 the size for todays flat screens unless you need the large basket for storage

The drawer didn't fit into the slots provided. I needed to have one of the men at work force it in. He also had to shave the sides of the drawer in order to use it. Still isn't a good fit. Very unsatisfied with that.

I am using this stand for my laptop. The wire base has helped cool the laptop as well. The small drawer has also done a world of good to get the small office clutter off my desk. I wish the power and usb port module got better reviews as that would be a big help.
