I have two and use them from everything from household uses to helping me hoist my 16' ocean kayaks on top of my SUV. They last forever and I've never seen any sturdier. This is an essential for my home. Plus the gray color (instead of the white) keeps it attractive after lots of wear.

I have three of these step stools and I would recommend it to everyone. I am a teacher and I have one in my classroom, my home and my husband and son share one for use on plumbing/electrical jobs. It is just great!

My government office couldn't figure out how to get a step stool so that those of us less than 5'10" could see the top of our stacked fax machines and printers. This was a donation I made to the office so that others wouldn't be breaking something (especially me not breaking something) attempting to use these machines. This step stool is light, portable, sturdy, and folds and gets stored in a corner when not in use. THE RIGHT PRICE for the job.
