I was happy to be able to get a Staples cartridge compaitible, since the Cannon BC-02 is no longer available. It is an older printer, as printers go.
I was also happy that even though my Staples store was sold out of the Staples version, someone was available to help me order it in the store.

It's economical to use black for general purpose documents. I use color for things like data sheets, etc.

I have had no problems with the quality. I'm speaking about your generic black Cannon compatible cartridge.
