I use the remanufactured cartridges, because they are cheaper. They still give me everything a new one does. but cost me less. I wish they would have more ink so I don't always run out. Except for that I see no difference in the new or remanufactured ones. If you are on a budjet like me. Think about getting the remanfactured cartridges instead.

POOR REVIEW OF HOUSE BRAND

I have to return 3 cartridges which were defective.
Apparently, there is No quality control with cartridges which have the Staples "Remanufactured" store brand. Also, since Staples has reduced the rebate for returning used cartridges from $3.00 to $2.00 it does not make it worthwhile to continue to return used cartridges. So,now I go to a local cartridge business which refills them much cheaper and provides excellent quality control to assure they perform the same as new cartridges.
