STARTECH.COM® CPUFANADAPT Fan Adapter 12" TX3 to 2X LP4 power Y splitter cable lets you connect your CPU fan directly to the computer power supply, instead of connecting it to the designated motherboard port.

This cable features a TX3 connector for connecting to the CPU fan, a female LP4 connection to the computer power supply, and an extra LP4 male connector that compensates.

Easy Installation
The three-cable design allows you to quickly and easily install it in most modern desktop computer cases. Simply connect the integrated TX3 connector to the fan and the female LP4 connector to the computer's power supply. The connected fan should then operate normally at its full capacity or current threshold setting.

Extra Fans
StarTech.com fan adapter cables allow you to connect more fans to your case. Extra fans allow you to more easily direct air flow and create a cooler environment for graphics cards and other necessary internal components. Cooler components are less likely to overheat and may last longer under optimal conditions.

Additional Transfer
This StarTech.com fan adapter has an extra male LP4 connector that allows you to connect multiple components in line. This allows you to run multiple fans off a daisy chain of connectors. Daisy-chained connectors can also power other computer components that require a male LP4 connection.
