This scale is an excellent choice for the small backyard farmer. It easily weighs Pumpkin, Squash, Tomatoes, Green Beans, etc. to enable you to keep track of your garden's assets.

Why the description doesn't mention the fact that an AC ADAPTER comes bundled with this product is completely beyond me. This one bundled component forms at least $10 worth of the purchase price -- significant because otherwise you're slowly bled on the cost of 9V batteries.

This scale stopped working properly after about 2 years. The reading on the display was a few pounds below what the actual weight of the package was.

We won't buy another one from the same manufacturer.
