a little tricky to get accurate readings

Comments about Samsonite� Manual Luggage Scale:

This scale is inexpensive and portable, but it's very difficult to get accurate and consistent readings. One has to lift the luggage very very slowly and gradually and even then results vary from reading to reading. The knob that zeros the red pointer yields unpredictable results as well, as sometimes when one turns the adjustment knob, the pointer does not move. I have a small fish scale that gives more reliable results, even though it seems less sophisticated than this Samsonite scale.
