  The Imaging Unit is the large component immediately inside the front door that holds the toner cartridges and the whole drum assembly. It's actually quite easy to remove; pull the latch on the bottom of the unit and it will slide out easily. Bear in mind that unless the toner cartridges were already empty, you can remove them and use them with the new imaging unit.

I want to buy this product to use a coupon that is going to expire. Can you tell me if I leave the product in the box unopened how long will it last? If I don't use it for 6-12 months does the product loose any effectivenss? if you could tell me the shelf life that would be help helpful as well
