I like using a laser printer for the volunteer work I do as I often need to make multiple copies for others. The copies are less expensive than my ink jet printer. Also I work from three homes and the ink does not deteriorate over long periods of non-use as is true with ink jet printers. I have both types of printers in all three locations - all purchased at Staples - but the ink is difficult to keep for the ink jet printers but not difficult for the laser printers..

Expensive and runs out quick...

Though this hardware model cannot be purchased at Staples, the cartridges can still be found there. The price is a alittle steep for the mileage you get out of them. The colors look a bit washed out and not rich. I wish the price was alittle cheaper and the quality alittle nicer. Can't complain if that is the all-in-one machine you have.

Though much of this is due to the machine it's printing from, the cartridges are still pricy and mileage is short. 3 stars for the cartridge.

When I purchased the printer I was told that the price of the cartridge would be about $40.00 and now it is nearer $60.00. The only reason for the purchase of this printer was the low price of the printer cartridge. Once again I am stuck with high prices to run a home based business. Also it is very, very slow in printing.

Purchased the cartridge waiting on the printer line to indicate it needed changing. The color seemed dull so I changed it and the crispness was wonderful even better than the original. What was I waiting on? Wonderful choice!

If I would have known how expensive the replacement cartridges were I would not have purchased the printer. The cartridges cost more than the printer itself. Lesson learned!

I have tried remanufactured cartriges in laser printers before. Some are not recognized and printer still wont print. Using brand specific prevents this from happening.
