    • The CLX-6260FW laser printer uses a polymerized toner for printing, increasing the details of both text and images. The polymerized toner is created with the use of smaller particles than those utilized with other printer toners. These smaller particles are capable of creating sharper lines on the page, as well as producing more vibrant colors, leading to higher-quality image reproduction overall. The smaller particles are also easier to apply to printer paper, requiring a thinner layer of the toner on the paper to produce the image desired and hence reducing the paper curl that can result from the oversaturation of ink on the page.

    Spend a little more & avoid the headache

      Our small Mac-based home office (5 users) bought this to replace our HP MFP, which was working just fine, but was old and didn't have the updated specs required by today's office environments (primarily PPM print speed and job processing speed). However, this model has been nothing but problems since Day 1. We are now on our second machine (Samsung replaced the first one after a visit from a service tech couldn't fix the streaky printing it was putting out) and are now having problems with the scanning function on the replacement unit. This machine has been very disruptive to our daily operations and we are extremely disappointed with it. I would advise anyone else to just spend the extra few bucks and get a better machine (I'd stick with HP, if I had the chance to do it over again).

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        We have had this printer for about 2 months. Excellent job with color. Print speed is very good. On average, we make approximately 175 copies a day, mostly black and white. I print envelopes and checks using the MP Tray. Every time I put something in the MP Tray I have to verify the size. I used to use the screen to change to envelope size, now I put the envelope in, press 'no' to change from letter size paper, click print on the computer and press 'continue' on the printer screen, when it notices there is an envelope in the MP Tray. If it can tell what is in the tray why do we need to continually tell it what is there? Every time I load paper in the paper tray we have to press a prompt on the screen indicating the paper size has not changed.

        Envelopes come out the front, not the back, like some printers. Scans to .pdf file. This is very helpful. I like the scan to USB feature. It will print a response when a fax does not go through (have to set up this feature). I haven't figured out how to automatically print a confirmation page. This can be done manually, before sending the next fax. One review I read did not like the 5 warning beeps. I agree, 3 would be plenty. Was able to adjust the sound so it is not so annoying.

        This is an excellent printer for the price.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
