Works for me!

I replaced a Samsung ML1740 with this printer, which is my everyday utility printer, and it works just fine. Its faster than the ML1740, the only objection is lack of a paper pass-through port on the rear, for printing envelopes. I use refilled toner cartridges and am getting just about the 3000 pages promised. Yes, the cartridge that came with the machine was lacking in toner, but I expect that, others do the same. Over all, this is a very good, dependable printer for daily utility use.

I tried to save some money since I purchase a cartridge almost on a monthly basis. I purchased a Premuim cartridge and not the OEM. The OEM reests the low toner button and the Premuim does not so it acts like the toner is low and the idiot light just blinks and blinks and blinks.

I have used these toner cartridges for several years and find them to be excellent products. they have a long life (many copies), excellent images (down to the last print) and clean and easy installation. Can't ask for anything more.

you can replace small fuse and get extra copies if indicator light turns red and you are still getting quality printing, check internet on how to do it
