Reviews for 2-Year Protection Plan for Printers, Fax Machines and All-in-Ones $100-$199.99
We are using this as a work order / invoice printer. Our volumes are some what low at around 100 pages per day.
I was in the market for a low volume, network printer with a small footprint and this printer was recommended by our software vendor. I have not been disappointed my choice. The warm up time is reasonable, the print quality is good even using the toner saver option, and it is fast.
Two issues that may cause some people problems:
1) This is not a heavy duty printer and may not hold up well in some business environments. I didn't find this all that surprising at this price point, and it's actually better then others in this class.
2) When I used the software to do the auto network install it installed the printer using the current IP address of the printer. We are using DHCP, if the printer didn't get the same address the printer couldn't be found. I fixed this by assigning the printer a fixed IP address. It was a easy fix but it had to be done outside of the install application and I didn't see it documented in the manual.
I feel this is a excellent printer for the money and have been considering replacing one of my other printers with another one of these.

After buying and throwing away 3 Samsung printers in the last two years, I can safely recommend you DON'T buy a Samsung printer. I could go on all day about the poor print quality, paper not grabbing when trying to print, etc. As a matter a fact, these printers are the first I've ever seen that get so hot you cannot even touch it. Literally! By the way, I have 3 or 4 ML-2510's that are ~1 year old, if you want them. Pure junk.

I got a solid red light after 16 months. This can mean: The cover is open. There is no paper. A major error. Toner not installed. System problems. Toner low.
The diagnostics should be able to narrow this down, but they don't.
Sm Business use - print quality really poor, crinkled every sheet of paper put thru. Could only hold 1 envelope at a time and crinkled that AS WELL...DO NOT BUY!!!
Had this over about year and a half and its done already. It jams like crazy, takes in multiple pages, prints lots of blanks, makes awful noises and usually cannot even get it to print. I do use it quite a bit so if you are not a heavy printer it would probably be ok. Otherwise, do not waste your money.
