Nice inexpensive Laser Printer that is fast and quiet. Good quality print also.
However, I found I couldn't put in on an APC550 surge supressor w/battery backup due to power use when turned on and when printing. Surge Suppressor would click and our lights would flicker. I put it on a separate circuit and a surge suppressor without a battery back up. This solved our problem.

The software was very easy to install and get running on the network. The print quality is better than any other printer I have seen in the price range. Have not used it enough to determine toner use amd reliability. At this point I am very happy with the purchase.

Received printer, absolutely no english instructions to set it up. Had to call Samsung to try and get the quickstart guide in english but it was not available only the manual that did not describe the steps to set it up. Returned product, Staples was great on returning it. Bought a Brother iinstead.

Does the toner contain iron oxide? It is important to me that it does.

  No. According to the Material Safety Data Sheet for the replacement toner cartridge, there is no iron oxide. The primary ingredient is polyester, followed by carbon black, wax, amorphous silica, and organic pigment.
