Q: I have a question concerning the Samsung monitor model S24B240BL that I recently purchased at the local Staples store. My question concerns the contrast ratios. The static contrast ratio is 1,000:1 and the dynamic contrast ratio is something else - it is listed as mega (infinity symbol) DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) What is a mega infinity ratio??? How does that compare to any other brand: ie - AOC has one that is 50,000,000:1 dynamic; HP has one that is 8,000,000:1 dynamic. Where does this Samsung fit in to those ranges. If they had to put a specific number on the dynamic ratio what would it be? Thanks for the help in understanding this. lk Asked on 2/22/2013 by lemjk from Des Moines, IA Know the answer?
