Ultra class can be misleading

Records photos fine but cannot reliably handle high def video on a DSLR camera. The "4" rating is often too slow - something I did not realize. Now I buy the Ext...Read complete review

Records photos fine but cannot reliably handle high def video on a DSLR camera. The "4" rating is often too slow - something I did not realize. Now I buy the Extreme chip with a "10" rating for reliabile high def video capture. The Ultra is fine for pictures and sometimes for video.

                Per the manufacture details read that it has Class-6 speed performance for recording up to 1080p HD1 video clips. As per SanDish, I was informed that this card is a class 6 card. Class 4 cards are standard SDHC card. However the SanDisk Ultra SDHC cards are using a class 6.
