I recently bought a new Windows Mobile phone (think PDA but more like a computer) and the memory needed a little overhaul, so I hunkered down and bought this little guy. Wow! I can't even begin to describe to you how nice it is to have SIXTEEN GIGS on my phone! I have all my favorite music (and some!), all my contacts, movies, favorites, pictures, all in the palm of my hand! And Sandisk delivers with this micro SDHC card!! It is MUCH faster than my regular 2GB SD card (PNY), which is a major plus becuase with 16 gigs you're gonna move around a ton of files, and standard 8 or 16GB cards of this size are slooowwwwww. (For all the technical nerds out there, the file transfer speeds top 42Mbps, which is about as fast as usb 2.0 can handle.)
The next step for me is getting a 32GB card, but its still a tad pricey. But for now, stop thinking about it! Go get it! You wont be dissapointed!

Only class 2. No wonder it's so cheap!

I should have known the price was too good. The card is only class 2 making it almost unusable for current technology cameras and mp3 players. The Sandisk packaging doesn't even show the class of the card, go figure. For those new to selecting the class of flash media, the class indicates the transfer speed of the card. A class 2 card transfers data at 2 mb/sec. A class 10 card transfers data at 10 mb/sec. 5 times faster. Spend the extra time looking for a good price on a fast card. Settling for slow media may save a few bucks now, but you will be dissatisfied every time you use the card. Sandisk, please put the class on the outside of the package like an ethical manufacturer would.
