Makes Life Easier

When my cell phone started breaking down I was able to get a new one under the warranty, but that didn't include transfering info from one phone to another. Downloading images, messages, contact information, etc to the micro-chip from my old cell phone to transfer to my new cell phone was easy, saved time not having to re-enter contact info that my SIM card didn't transfer, able to save text messages and pictures from old phone, download them to my new phone or directly to my computer, otherwise they would have been lost.
I wasn't sure about buying this at first. Wasn't too sure how handy it would be and if I really needed it. SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT!!! Just to be able to save the pictures sent to my phone and taken with my phone made buying the micro-chip worth the price. (Part of my phone problem was not being able to send out my pictures/multi media messages)

BEWARE, Card Died After a Year

The card worked fine for about a year and then for no apparent reason the card became unreadable. I expected better reliability from SanDisk. More expensive is not necessarily better.

The sim card reader that came with the product is not compatable with my windows XP but compatable with vista. It was easy getting the songs on there but once one was put on there it locked the whole card and now i cannot add any files of any kind

Be sure that your device can support the SD-"HC" format because they will not tell you this on the package. In fact their web-site doesn't even explain the difference between SD & SDHC. I only found out through an independent distributor of flash memory that there was a difference. Oh, by the way, those memory look up tools suck. I have lots of devices that take memory cards, and not 1 of them show up in their lists.

I use this in my Blackberry Curve and am thrilled with the capacity and the functionality. Comes with a SD card converter which is great if I ever get rid of the phone and also a USB adapter. Good product -- highly recommended for cell phone / smart phone use.

I installed this in my Blackberry Curve and it's worked great from the start. It's much easier to add items to my device with the extra storage and I can use it as an mp3 player now too. I took a recent trip to New York City and never ran out of storage for pictures.
