This product has been reliable and efficient, which is all you really want in a USB. As long as I can backup files and access them without a problem, I'm happy! Naturally only time will tell if it continues to perform consistently without a hitch. But for now, I have no complaints. Some USB' go bad after time and cease to work, but this one seems to be fine without a single problem. I can honestly say that I would buy this product again, and again. And the reasonable price definitely influenced my decision to purchase the product. In a world of many choices you look for a reliable product at a reasonable price!

I bought an 8GB, as they were on sale. Then when it worked w/my XP machine but not my Vista machine, I returned it & upped to a 16GB. Same problem, which I then Googled & found all over the web as a common issue as early as 2008(!!) when Vista was just getting rolling well: you attempt to move/copy a mid-size to large file (~50MB or more), & midway through, it hangs & eventually gives an error saying the file cannot be found in its original location any longer; please check the location of the file - at that point, the Cruzer thumbdrive is still showing in the "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista/7) file list, but when you double-click on it, it shows no contents at all in the thumbdrive anymore(despite there being files on there - it comes w/files already on it.) You have to then unplug & re-plug it in to get it to properly display its contents then. I reformatted, 1st to FAT32, then to NTFS. Couldn't even accomplish that w/the Vista machine, but the XP reformatted w/out problems. At that point, I could finally get files copied onto the drive, but the Vista machine couldn't run/read them w/out getting hung & giving me an error saying the files were missing suddenly from their original location (i.e. - watching a movie off the drive, the media player would suddenly pop up a read-error.) I am an IT pro (college grad for IT), & I have posted this issue on web IT-assistance sites to no avail. I use other thumbdrives for this EXACT same stuff constantly on these exact same machines. I know files over 4GB will not move/copy w/out special procedures - but we're not talking about files that large here - I was trying to copy 700MB .avi files from my Vista machine for watching on my XP laptop later. I had to use my XP desktop or XP laptop to copy files onto or off of this device to use it at all. I finally am returning it tomorrow & going w/a different brand, as my PNY, A-Data, Kingston, HP, & even generic brands ALL work w/out issue on my Vista AND XP PCs. SO disappointed in SanDisk, as they used to be 1 of the 1ST brands I'd have recommended in the past!!

I love using the retractable zips for storing pictures and transferring them from my different folders. Great for taking to the store for developing pictures that I have taken from my camera. I use them to take work home from the office and work on spreadsheets at home I am able to bring my work back to the office and reinstall on my computer. It is large enough to transfer even my large spreadsheets. I can put different folders right on the zip and store to make them easier to find. I use the smaller zips to store different photograph albums.
