We use this in our house and is actually the 4th cabinet of this type that we have bought. For the money, this unit provides ample storage space. We store a little bit of everything in it. Comes pre-assembled and is very sturdy.

The only bad thing I would say about it is that the handles and locking mechanism are not that great. The handles and locking mechanism are a little clunky. It does not allow you to shut the door good and tight like the previous cabinets we bought. The doors shut, but have a bit of play to them. Everytime I buy one of these they always seem to change the way the handles and locking mechanism work. This one is not real good. It probably wouldn't take much to bust into it, but we have no need to lock it anyway. Don't get me wrong, the handles work adequate enough just don't expect high quality. I wouldn't let that stop anyone from buying this, it's really sort of minor for what I use the cabinet for. Despite this one thing, I still give it 5 stars , because it's perfect for what we need and use it for.

This is a good cabinet for any storage room you have or even for the garage. I actually have one of these in my garage

All in all, this is a great funtional cabinet.

If you're looking for something durable you should skip this cabinet. [...]. Even when the pieces were banged back into place the assembly process was one of the most frustrating projects I've taken on. I had to chisel the tabs open because they had all been painted shut and the metal was so flimsy that the cabinet collapsed under its own weight when I stood it upright. Eventually I gave up on the instructions and assembled the entire cabinet on the ground before standing it up and even then some of the tabs that secure the back popped out of place so the back panel could easily be ripped open. In the end it took over two hours to "assemble" the cabinet; not exactly the Quick-Assembly design the instructions promised.

    this cabinet is very spacious can be locked with adequate space between shelves height wise,good width while also being very slim. price was just right and the free shipping with me receiving it within one day was just asolutely great. I was able to go into the store and have the sales clerk show me the cabinet and give me the model number so that I could bring it up on line while checking out other sizes,color and prices to share with my club members then order direct on online from Staples

      I like the look of this cabinet and the assembly was fairly easy. The problem came when I tried closing and locking the doors. When I tried closing the doors the rod on the locking door would not go through the top hole at and when I tried to guide it into the hole, it pushed through all right but so did the rubber around the top hole on the door came through and now I guess we will have to try to pound it down. We cannnot close the doors totally now let alone lock it which was one of the main reasons we purchased this cabinet. The way the cabinet was packaged on delivery, I don't understand why the rods could not have been already in the doors whne delivered. Now, I don't know that it will ever work.

        I have owned 5 of these in my previous house,and i left them there when i sold the house. Just bought 4 more now for my new house, and they are just perfect. They have gone a bit pricier over the years for whatever reason, but still worth it. Order placed 2pm and it was delivered next day at noon. WOW!!!

        Improvement in shipping would be appreciated. shelf need to be stored in the bottom and all parts need to be bagged up secure. So it wan't get lost in shipping.
        It says free shipping but limited to delivery area. that is !!!. It should be delivered at home.

            This unit does not have any feet or pads on the corners. It is suggested that you move it into place with movers blankets or pads, then remove when the unit is in place. The corners are coated but because of the way it is assembled, could leave a ding or mark in a vinyl floor.

            Yes, The only assemble needs to do are:
            1-install the handle to the left side of the door.
            2-iron rod and lock install to the right side of the door.
            3-lift the last shelf from the bottom and lay it flat down.
            You may want to use the plastic clips that comes with the cabinet to place them in the corner of each shelf to secure it.

            **Tool to use -a screw driver.

            Overall, it's very stable and sturdy. It's a great help to store away a lot of stuff neatly.
