Would recommend to friend. I use this desk for personal office and crafting. I like the slide out for the key board, it's big enough to put my laptop on and has the wrist rest. It doesn't have a small drawer for pen and pencils. Thought about ordering same desk with drawers on both sides but I don't have enough room for that desk. This is best for space I have. Very Sturdy. Like others have said take your time putting it together, screws and boards very similar but not exact, and it will serve you well. If you can put it together in the room you want it in do so, it is heavy. There are how to videos, I did not need to use them.

sawdust that impersonat's a desk !

Well what can you really say about compressed sawdust ? Saw the display in Staples and figured I would take a chance.Ill fitting and flimsy for the money with a THIN foil finish that will scar easily and cannot be retouched with stains as it is not wood. Most of the afternoon spent on the project, it still does not line up properly after all the twiking recomended, and I'm pretty handy with wood (?) furinture products.
Spend the xtra money on a real wood product or buy a used piece of real furniture. I expect that the humidity and moisture will eventually just lock up all the particle board moving parts. Don't care for Sauder Product line, will not purchase from them it the future.

Wasn't the worst that I have put together, but had it's moments. Definitely cannot slide it on the carpet, but that is probably because I did not get it tightened correctly. Otherwise works and is so much better than what I was using previously.

Worst desk ever. Not all the pieces were drilled or made correctly. All pieces were missing finish and all were chipped. Do not buy this

Looks nice, but thats it. Hard to put together, very very heavy. Pullout drawer for the keyboard is very cumbersome on your hands, I had to remove the front lip to type.
