Looks nice, but the particle board construction is pretty cheap. If you are very, very careful with the assembly it's a good unit. I pulled just a tiny bit on the bottom and tore out the screw holders, wood and all.

Some of the pieces didn't fit together as well as I would like. On a scale of 1 being easy to assemble and 10 being difficult, I'd give it a 7. I like the look of thus furniture set, but would be hesitant to purchase the remaining pieces for my office because of the assembly. Everyone in the office compliments on how nice it looks.

The bookshelf is good looking and provides lots of storage. The materials are good quality but it's a little wobbly once assembled. I think that's just because it's so tall. It was pretty easy to assemble but the doors were a pain to align.

We ordered two of these for our den. One arrived broken, the other we put together and everything went fine until we got to the doors. They were impossibly hard to attach and they WOULD NOT hang straight. We removed and reattached so many times it was ridiculous. We finally gave up, called Staples and told them to come take them both away! We have kept the desk (haven't put it together yet but it doesn't have those pathetic doors so hoping for better luck) and will find some other pieces to go with it.
