This is a great piece for a den! Looks more expensive than what it was. My only complaint with it is that I had to make the hole in the back much larger for all the cords to go through.

This piece was actually one of the reasons my husband and I decided to purchase the Edgewater Collection. I was sick of looking at the printer on my desk and wanted a way to hide it. This piece did exactly that. Assembly was pretty easy but it was a nightmare to align the doors.

We purchased this item for our conference room and it works quite well, especially for the price. It was a bit harder to assemble than I would have liked, but once put together it looks good and works. For the price I'm happy with this purchase.

love the look and features . great piece for the price. this is my 3rd piece from the collection. Does take time to assemble but easy to follow pictures/directions. great helpline if needed.

I must say I was unimpressed with this piece. Upon delivery, I noticed that one of the side pieces was cracked. I'll give Sauder credit in that they immediately sent out a new piece. However, when I started to put it together, I noticed the other side piece was cracked in the same place. However, again Sauder replaced that part.

I found assembly pretty difficult, mainly because some of the screws are very difficult to reach and they can't really be seen. One particular gripe I have is with the screws that hold the sliding mechanism onto the cabinet, which are small and pretty difficult to get to sit in the holes provided. During assembly, the unit is very flimsy until the back in nailed on. Flimsy enough that on turning it over to nail on the back, a couple of pieces broke loose (mainly the trim in the front). I'm also not impressed with the quality of the chipboard used or the twist-lock fasteners that hold the thing apart, as they don't hold anywhere near as tightly as other fasteners I have used. Finally, there are too many unfinished surfaces.

That said, once together, it does look pretty nice and as I said, they were good about replacing broken parts. I'm not sure the cracked parts are their fault, except that there was not enough protective padding around the pieces in the package.
