Bought this for my son--best price that we had found (instore on sale), but the plastic piece broke within 3 days of having it! Also, within the first week it stopped charging his IPOD! They always say you get what you pay for & even though it's cheaper than the actual apple Ipod brand, it's not worth the headache!

        It works, but the plastic reinforcement around the cable has already cracked. The original Apple cable had a softer plastic and lasted longer.
