I bought this believing the claim "invisible when applied". However, it gave a dismal result repairing some tears on paper, and the joke is that I had previously been using a "store" brand that was giving super results, and assumed the Scotch brand would be even superior. In addition to not being invisible, the tape is too thick and has poor adhesion even on paper. Truly and completely AWFUL!
