Scotch Drafting Tape has been around for a long time. It''s a product I have used through the years. If your looking for drafting tape, I would recommend Scotch. It adheres well, and does not uplift your ink, pencil, or other types of marks from your paper. Paper is not removed when the tape is lifted up.

I have found no negative aspects with this tape.
