I use it to cover file folder labels - it strengthens the tabs so they don't curl and it keeps the file folder labels from drying out and falling off after a couple years.

There is a continual problem with this type of tape. If the user doesn't fold over the end, or if she (gasp!) lets go of it, the roll becomes a giant glob of useless plastic.

Have tried several packing tapes over the years and this is the best I've found. It's not thin and doesn't rip when you don't want it to, and the dispenser is really easy to use. The tape is heavy enough to hold it's own when you sit it down by not flapping back on the roll so that you have to peel it off everytime you go to use it.

It applies nice and smooth without bubbles or creases and has a nice shiney and smooth texture.

Each roll of tape comes on it's own disposable dispenser which is more expensive than just buying replacement rolls for a permanent dispenser, but I've come to realize that the quality and ease of use is worth every penny to me.

  I use these as disposables. I know the tape comes in single rolls w/o dispensers that you can purchase as refills, but a huge part of why I love these is the easy to use dispenser and the quality of the tape. The discription says it all, "High Performance" and "Sure Start". Each of the dispensers is ready to go, just tear off the tag and the tape is ready to use. I think these are packaged and sold this way because they are intended to be disposables.
  
  I know this is not very "green", but I do tons of recycling and as hard as I work, I do this one thing as a favor to myself to make my job easier and headache free. After trying just about every tape and dispenser on the market over the years and fighting with ripping and tangling tape and no good dispensers, I've found that going this route is the best for me and rate this tape with a definate 5 Stars!
