Mostly, I use this product for shipping small packages and manila envelopes. However, I also use it to get more use out of my vinyl kitchen tablecloths. I just put a small piece over the rip and it is virtually invisible. I get a little more use out of it then. Therefore it helps me stretch my budget!

It does seem to start more easily than the regular tape... but, it would've been easier for them to just make a dispenser that prevented the tape from coming off the "holder" part and sticking back on the roll.
This seems like it won't hold as well... peels off the roll like saran wrap does (I like the satisfying rip-rip sound of unrolling regular packing tape), and doesn't seem like it'll stick any better. To be fair, I haven't had it un-stick (just using it on cardboard boxes), but it feels like the adhesive is poor, even though the tape itself is sturdier.
I'll stick with the plain old (cheaper) packing tape from now on.
