I use these exclusively in my art gallery to attach the information about each piece to the wall because they hold fast but come off easily without leaving a mark on the walls. I also use them to post posters in my windows for upcoming events. The little olastic squares that peel off the back are full of static electricity and therefor difficult to dispose of but worth the effort.

Not sticky on a wall with a hall behind.

I was attempting to hang a 20" x 30" posterboard with 9 photos mounted in the back of church.

I added 8 of the Scotch squares to the back of the posterboard and stuck it to a painted plaster wall that had an usher's closet behind it. The board fell 3 times during and after the service.

I finally affixed it the following day to a solid wall without any opening behind it. It has still remained there after several days.

I was disappointed since I thought I may have used "too many squares" and the posterboard still fell down.

I am uncertain about recommending this as I was expecting better quality from 3M.

        Nice product, considering I used it for a temporary display, and not the intended use. The only minor issue I had was that the backings were a little hard to peel. I haven't tested how well the product can be removed either, since my project was a one off task.

        Very good adhesion for my task, which was paper to foam board. I think this is a decent product, and reasonably priced.

        And since the test project is right here... I tested to see if it was removable. Seems to peel off my paper and foam board cleanly.
