Holds a 3" core roll of tape on a flat surface for one-handed use. I use with masking tape when wrapping with bubble wrap the delicate items I ship for my online antique store. If you've ever tried to undo a parcel of bubble wrap and clear tape you know it's not fun. Therefore, I don't - I use masking tape to facilitate my customers.

This tape dispenser is larger than than most but it has sand in it. The sand can be easily dumped out, but if you don't dump it out and it gets dropped on the floor, the sand will leak out.

can the blade that cuts the tape be replaced or does the whole unit need to be replaced when that blade becomes dull? can youo use masking tape in this unit. i plan on using it alot in business to tape pizza boxes do you think it will hold up? thanks

  Don't throw out your dispensrs!
  I had the same question. I did some research and Uline carries the blade replacements.
  http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-2312-BLADE/Tape-Dispensers-Desktop/Extra-Blade-for-3M-Single-Roll-or-Definite-Length-Tape-Dispensers
  Also, you can order the blade from 3M directly. Look at the base of the dispenser, there should be a Blade No. on the bottom. For Example: I have a C-25 Dispenser the Blade No. listed on the base of the dispenser is : 78-8015-6718-7.
